Mr. Somesh Tiwari has been practicing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the Hon’ble Delhi High Court in matters focusing on Arbitration, Banking, Company Law, Prevention of Money Laundering Act. He is also advising clients on Corporate Advisory and other General Corporate Work. Mr. Tiwari has been appointed by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh and the State Government of West Bengal as panel counsel to represent the State Governments before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the National Green Tribunal. Mr. Tiwari has also been appointed by the Agra Development Authority as their nodal counsel to represent the Authority before the Delhi High Court and all Tribunals including the National Green Tribunal.
The core area of practice of Mr. Tiwari is commercial arbitration, civil and criminal law before the Hon’ble High Courts in Writ Jurisdiction. He has represented clients across various High Courts in India touching matters in Criminal, Civil and Constitutional law. Mr. Tiwari has also been appointed by leading Public Sector Undertakings to represent them before various forums.
Mr. Tiwari has been regularly appearing before various Tribunals mainly NCDRC, NCLT and NCLAT in matters spanning from Medical negligence to Builder /buyer disputes and insurance. Mr. Tiwari has also worked extensively in-service matters and banking matters and has been successful in getting relief for clients before the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) and service Writs before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and Allahabad High Court.
